Hostel Kersenhof is situated in an authentic farmstead from the province of Brabant and was originally built at the beginning of the 19th century. This farm used to be part of the cherry orchards, in those days a product Uden was known for. When looking at the gardens and the surrounding area of the farm one can still recognize the cherry orchard with its beautiful blossoms and delicious cherries. The furnishings and decoration of the farm reflects the hospitality where Brabant is known for. At the same time the farmstead fully complies with all of today’s demands.

Hostel Kersenhof is situated just outside the city center of Uden. It is ideal for people who wish to combine the tranquility and atmosphere of the rural area with shops, restaurants and entertainment. The friendly hustle and bustle of Uden’s town centre is at walking distance and so are the large forest area of “de Maashorst” and the sand dunes of “Bedaf”.

On his travels through South Africa and Scotland, Huib Rutten noticed how pleasant and convenient it is to use hostels. So when he renovated an old farm in 2009 and had enough space to build some extra rooms , it did not take long before Hostel Kersenhof was born.
Nowadays the hostel offers 6 characteristically decorated rooms and 5 studio’s, that can accommodate a total of 25 persons. For our customers convenience most rooms have their own toilet and shower and the rooms in the guesthouse even have their own kichenette. Hostel Kersenhof offers a common living / kitchen, a large garden and parking on the grounds. You are most welcome to use the BBQ in our garden or relax in the hot tub. If you are travelling alone or with a group, if you are planning a short break or a longer stay, Hostel Kersenhof will always have a fitting solution!
